In this 3 hour webinar, Tracy uses Parts Informed Somatic Resourcing as a way to "Build a bigger boat" and wake up stories of what is often complex resilience. This can be used as part of Phase 2 EMDR - Preparation or as a stand alone Therapeutic technique, to wake up and access adaptive felt sense experience within the client’s system, better equipping them for memory reconciliation and processing.
WHAT IS RESOURCE THERAPY?
Resource Therapy is a Trauma Informed empowering psychotherapy based on the understanding that the personality is made up of "Parts". It helps us to understand the importance of working with the most appropriate part of the client to produce change. Often many therapeutic approaches work with a reporter part or a resistant part. Resource Therapists learn many tools to help them compassionately and respectfully work with the parts that most need it and navigate resistance and or dissociative parts.
Resource Therapy offers us a complete "map" , a full protocol to use with most client presentations. It can be a used alone Therapy or RT can also work beautifully alongside EMDR.
